MCT - Wizard of Oz
Missoula Children’s Theatre, the nation's largest touring children’s theatre, has been extensively touring for over 40 years, performing worldwide.
A tour team arrives in a town equipped with set, lights, costumes, props, and makeup—everything necessary to stage a play except the cast. The team conducts an open audition and selects 50-60 local students to participate in the production.
The performance is rehearsed throughout the week culminating in a public show on Saturday. This year’s MCT production is an original adaptation of the classic children’s tale, The Wizard of Oz.
Auditions for children grades K-12 will be held on Monday, July 14th. Download the audition notice for more information.
